Bridgeport Art Trail Celebrates City's Burgeoning Creative Scene

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — The annual Bridgeport Art Trail kicks off Thursday with a long weekend of city-wide open studios, exhibitions, art talks, performances and more.

The Kick-off and Artists’ Party runs from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Ground Floor Gallery at Read’s ArtSpace downtown.

On Friday, Saturday and Sunday you can make a day of it with art brunches, studio tours, beer and vinyl sales, live painting and film screenings across town.

Or join Urban Bike Tours of Bridgeport for their Bike the Bridgeport Art Trail on Saturday morning. Stops include 305 Knowlton and the Armstrong Gallery, The Nest Arts Factory, The Archive Movie & Music Store, The American Fabric Arts Building and the Bridgeport Innovation Center.
